Description
This modern, structural firefighter suit is made up of a jacket and trouser set, conforming to BS EN 469:2020 Level 2 and MED-approved, making them perfect for use on vessels and shipboard heliports. Redesigned from the ground up, this is firefighter suit contains the latest innovations for marine firefighters, with ergonomic styling for improved comfort and mobility. It retains the highest levels of protection, improved levels of comfort and has a flexible fit. The suit uses innovative fabrics, alongside industry-leading Kevlar protection reinforcement, while still providing enhanced levels of breathability and improved heat transfer performance.
The suit is made from Kermel Aramid, a polyamido-imide fibre, within the meta-aramid fibre class. The fibre is smooth, pliable and permanently flame retardant. It has excellent abrasion resistance and prevents piling. It demonstrates high protective performance even in the face of heat, flame, chemical substances, etc, and is celebrated for it’s strength, defence and flexibility.
