Description
This grab/salving rescue hook is intended for use as part of a heliport crash rescue kit, for dragging persons from crash, fire & rescue situations.
The handle is manufactured from straight-grained Ash of approximately 40 mm diameter and it has a heavy-duty steel head. The 2-part wooden handle is strong and non-heat conductive and has a a heavy-duty brass ferrule. The head is coloured red and has blunted points to allow a ‘bite’ into clothing, without tearing the material. Comes in 2 parts for easy storage. Length when assembled is 4.15 m; total weight when assembled is 5 kg.
