Description
The OMP Tecnica Hybrid race-style heliport suit is an excellent choice for HLOs and HDAs to use during helicopter operations on shipboard heliports. With reflective ‘HLO’ markings on the left breast and back, the HLO suits clearly differentiate the HLO from the HDAs, even at night.
These suits are high-specification, 2-layer suits which benefit from traditional Nomex flame retardant material, twinned with high- tech printed, breathable inserts and embroidered detail. The external layer is a shiny Nomex material providing a modern look whilst the inner layer is a soft knit Nomex for high levels of comfort.
They offer fully floating sleeves and an elasticated insert on the lower back and breathable inserts on the hips and sleeves which all provide increased comfort and flexibility. The suit also features a shaped collar with soft knit fabric, adjustable Velcro belt and ultra-flat anti rubbing seams and a soft groin insert also aids comfort between the legs. The suit is finished in vertical fishbone quilting with hidden side pockets. Available in a range of complimenting colours.
For Heliport Deck Assistant (HDA) race-style suits, see PPE-0902.
