Description
These oil/fuel absorbent socks are hydrophobic, meaning that they absorb hydrocarbons and repel water. They are designed to selectively absorb large volumes of oil and will float on water even when fully saturated. They are an ideal addition/replacement part in a fuel spill kit.
The socks can be shaped to create an absorbent barrier that is ideal for strategic placement around drum bases, machine bases, ledges or any areas that have a high propensity for leaks and drips. They are also an ideal method for the selective recovery of oil from water.
