Description
These adjustable deck-edge perimeter lights are designed to boost safety on any shipboard heliport on superyachts and cruise ships. There are 2 options, one flush and one with a convex lens (to allow for side emissions), neither of which cause a trip hazard for personnel walking on the heliport. As an option, the flush version can be delivered with RGB multi-colour LEDs, to support party mode!
These lights offer an elegant and minimalistic design, with no visible screws, and will fit optimally into any ambitious heliport layout. The light is adjustable in its vertical position, which allows easy deck installation at varying thicknesses of deck coverings, whether teak or a synthetic deck material. The adjustability is maintained after installation so that the position can be readjusted after deck maintenance (e.g. teak sanding).
Each unit is aimed at providing light from approx. 0° (horizontal), upwards with a characteristic along CAP 437 requirements for perimeter lights. The light comes as standard with multi-sensor electronics, measuring multiple modes of operation, detecting an upcoming malfunction before the light might fail. Alternatively for retro-fits, the lights can also be operated by customer-supplied (existing) control systems, with a simple on/off functionality. Any mode of installation is possible, such as welding, bolting and gluing, both from above and below the deck.
