Description
These combined deck-edge & floodlights have been designed to mark the heliport’s outer limits and illuminate the entire heliport in a way which does not dazzle pilots’ vision during their approach/landing & take-off/departure phases. The units have a low and compact housing profile which is made of seawater-resistant aluminium for performance in extreme marine environments.
The light comes as standard with multi-sensor electronics, measuring multiple modes of operation, detecting an upcoming malfunction before the light might fail. Alternatively for retro-fits, the lights can also be operated by customer-supplied (existing) control systems, with a simple on/off functionality. Any mode of installation is possible, such as welding, bolting and gluing, both from above and below the deck.
