Description
This NATO-approved anti-static earthing pole is designed to discharge dangerous static electricity which is accumulated during flight. It acts as a ‘static discharge wand’, preventing ‘sparking’ that could damage equipment or harm personnel during helicopter operations, such as underslung loads.
Key Features
- Steel hook/probe: 150 cm length
- Non-conductive rubber design
- 10 mm copper earthing wire, sheathed in plastic
- Wire length: 5 m (standard, adjustable to CAA-recommended 3.5 m – 5 m, upon request)
- Wooden stave length: Available in 1.35 m or 2.0 m
- Tightly-wrapped earthing wire
- Foam grip (extends 30 cm along the handle)
