Description
These Hydroshield Water Curtain Nozzles are designed to quickly and efficiently establish a large Waterwall to protect the operative against heat, sparks, smoke and noxious gases. They create a safe zone from behind which firefighters are free to tackle the fire through the Waterwall with jet nozzles.
The Hydroshield is also a highly effective nozzle for cooling neighbouring fuel storage tanks or combustible materials that are in danger of spread from the fire.
Professional Firefighters have used the Hydroshield for many years and they are now also widely used in industrial sectors, including fuel storage sites and for multiple marine applications, including shipboard heliports.
Available in two flow options (800 or 1,400 Litres/Minute), the Hydroshield is supplied as standard with a BSP threaded inlet for compatibility with any International inlet adaptor. Gunmetal adaptors are available for use in harsh, saline-rich marine applications.
